It’s CULTED.

Burberry just presented their Autumn/Winter 20 co-ed collection.

The show started off with an instrumental by the legendary french piano duo, Katia and Marielle Labèque. This set an intense and eerie vibe, as models walked down the mirrored runway in a grand dark hall.

The first look was a reimagination of the classic Burberry trench but the collar and sleeves were adorned with mohair.

Tisci explored construction and deconstruction with this collection. There were coats that were half trench, half puffer, while bombers and hoodies were stitched to the back of other garments. The classic Burberry check was also reimagined in a broad variety of designs.

Traditional tailoring in a beige colour palette dominated the collection with pops of bright mossy greens and sky blues introduced through shoes and accessories.

The collection then moved towards a preppier vibe. Rugby jerseys headed down the runway in Gryffindor colours – very polo chic.

The show finished with a dazzling silver gown, adorned with matching tassels.

For the first time in several collections, Riccardo Tisci seems to have moved away from streetwear.

What were your thoughts on Burberry’s co-ed collection?
