BOTTEGA VENETA OPENS “VIENI A VEDERE” INSTALLATION

Translating to “Come and See”, the “Vieni a Vedere” installation was commissioned by artist Gaetano Pesce to create an immersive space as an extension of Bottega Venta’s SS23 show. Located inside the Montenapoleone store, the installation invites visitors to pass through its resin-and-fabric compositions and showcases the Italian brand’s handbags, specifically tailored to the artist’s designs. The installation will run for a week, between April 15 and 22, where the limited edition handbags will also be available to purchase.

DRAKE TEASES A KIM KARDASHIAN SAMPLE ON AN UNRELEASED SONG

Continuing to tease unreleased material, Drake has now previewed Rescue Me an unreleased track that samples Kim Kardashian speaking on her divorce with Ye. Taken from an episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, Kim can be heard saying “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that”. The rest of the song sees Drake explain how he’s ready to settle down. Whether that is with Kim K or whether he’s afraid of going through what she went through, that remains unclear, as well as if the track will ever see the light of day with an official release.

Called WRHS13 and now located in Soho, Zinko’s new place is a utilitarian blend of a warehouse, retail space and NatashkinoLtd Matcha Café, with boxes literally lining the walls, where customers are invited to sip on a hot cup of Matcha while shopping from the brand.

GUESS USA’S SS23 TURNS THE HEAT UP ON CLASSIC AMERICANA

Guess USA tapped the photographer and director Eli Russell Linnetz to capture its raunchy SS23 collection. Inspired by the brand’s Nicolai Marciano and the artist’s American roots, the collection explores the Americana aesthetic, while also taking a look back into Guess’ archives. From the explosion of denim in fashion during the 90s to Y2K blinged out crop tops, the collection features an array of Guess staples with a nostalgic twist.

NAOMI CAMPBELL BRINGS DEDICATION, DETERMINATION AND DRIVE TO BMW

From supermodel to super cars, Naomi Campbell has become the face of BMW’s new XM SUV’s campaign. With the slogan “Dare to be You”, the high-confidence attitude of BWM and Campbell merge together so much so that the model will also be designing a new model of the car brand based off its XM model. While there are no details on when we can expect this car to hit the market, we can imagine that the car will not only embrace Campbell’s fierceness but also highlight the innovation and change making nature of the fashion industry.

CASABLANCA TAPS CAVIAR KASPIA FOR A CAPSULE COLLABORATION

Caviar Kaspia has built a reputation for itself as the go-to restaurant for some of the most fashionable figures from Rihanna to Casablanca’s creative director Charaf Tajer. NIKE’S DUNK LOW TWIST IS ARRIVING IN A NEW COLOURWAY

Expected to drop later this year, Nike has added a new colourway to its women’s exclusive Dunk Low Twist, coming in a “Vivid Sulfur” iteration. The yellow hues are juxtaposed with the base “Coconut Milk” colour. This pair of sneakers plays with the idea of textures and 3D elements, by placing bumpers at the front and rear of the shoe, as well as taking inspiration from Nike’s collaboration with AMBUSH, by using a detachable yellow swoosh that extends past the shoe’s heel tab.

GWYNETH PLATROW WINS HER CASE AND THE HEARTS OF HFT

Actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow has been on trial for a 2016 ski accident, which has come to end with Paltrow winning the case and has been rewarded with a single dollar, as per her request. The trial has been nothing short of bizarre, but perhaps the greatest thing to come out of it was Paltrow’s outfits. Becoming the Internet’s latest obsession, Paltrow has been spotted going to court decked out in The Row, Celine, Prada, Proenza Schouler and more, honing in on the quiet luxury look that, apparently, wins you a case.
