Songer, the UK-based rapper behind the viral “Toxic” freestyle, is performing at the V&A next Tuesday as part of the Performance Festival at V&A South Kensington. Bringing his radically optimistic and often intensely deep lyrics in the form of reshaped Shakespearean sonnets and stories, Songer will put on a bespoke performance in the V&A South Kensington’s Raphael Cartoons room. The last (and only other) artist in the history of the V&A Festival to perform at the venue was another UK rapper, Skepta, which adds even more weight to the event. END. x Reebok x The Streets©

Has it come to this? Yes, it has! END., Reebok and The Streets are uniting for a mega best-of-British get-together. 19 years ago, Mike Skinner was the first UK artist to front a Reebok campaign, and now, he’s back at it, launching a commemorative iteration of Skinner’s favourite dance floor-approved trainer: The Reebok Classic. The release will see an all-white leather colourway, nodding to Skinner’s early 2000s style, as well as a black nylon and nubuck colourway accented with gold detailing. The Streets’ block letter writing is worked on the sidewalls, and the iconic lighter graphic is printed onto the sole, which is visible through translucent gum and rubber.

To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, Mike Skinner will appear in END’s Soho Flagship store this Thursday, April 18, as part of a takeover with Apple Music and Beats 1 DJ and presenter Matt Wilkinson. If you fancy putting on your classics and having a little dance, grab your tickets here
