Alec Soth and Bottega Veneta are exploring playgrounds in Tokyo 

Remember Bottega Veneta’s banging Summer 24 campaign shot by Alec Soth in a Tokyo playground? Well, now there’s a whole exhibition, shot by Soth and supported by Bottega Veneta in Tokyo, commemorating the playful campaign at Tokyo’s Seeen. In each of the detailed shots, the spirit of playfulness and adventure is front and centre, and now you can get up close and personal with each image. The exhibition exemplifies Bottega Veneta’s dedication to supporting creatives and artisans, extending the world of the luxury House even further. Find out more information here

Songer is touring the UK with his latest mixtape, THE PRICE OF THERAPY

Reading-based artist Songer has released his THE PRICE OF THERAPY mixtape, building on the success of his previous hits, including “Toxic (Freestyle),” which peaked at number 29 in the UK charts. There’s a new Lauren Halsey exhibition in Paris

Gagosian will host its first exhibition of works by Lauren Halsey in Paris, the second exhibition in France after “Too Blessed 2 be Stressed” at Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris. Halsey’s work proposes visionary new possibilities for art and architecture reflective of the pride and resilience of her community in South Central Los Angeles. The Paris exhibition features “Foil Works” and “Protruded engravings,” with each body of work collecting and repurposing imagery unique to her community. The exhibition will be on show until May 25, so check it out while you can. 

Lobby Lates is back at One Hundred Shoreditch

Cocktails for a tenner and tunes until late sounds alright, doesn’t it? Well, that’s exactly what One Hundred Shoreditch is doing as part of its Lobby Lates series. Every Thursday from 7 p.m. until late, they will bring the sounds of hip-hop, Afrobeat, Amapiano, Future Beats, and Afro House with some nibbles on offer too. If you’re fancying a proper start to the weekend, make sure to check this one out. 

Hennessy is powering a South London Renaissance

When you think of Cognac, the chances are you probably think of Hennessy, thanks to its 250-year history, and solid presence in music culture. Now, it has linked with South East London’s newest live music venue and food hub, The Queen of the South, alongside cultural platform Cloud X. Hennessy is proudly committed to supporting and empowering new musical artists and the communities and the “South London renaissance” is just another way the cognac brand is supporting the culture. The festivities will kick off on April 5 with performances from Bawo, ETTA BOND, and cult rap singer Finn Foxell alongside South London Rap collective house of Pharaohs and Tara Lily. Bird House Brewery is opening in Herne Hill

There’s a new brewery and tap house opening in South London, and it’s Bird House Brewery in Herne Hill. Brought to life by the brains behind Peckham Arches and The Hawk’s Nest, the latest banging boozing spot is under a railway arch on Bath Factory Estate, next to Brockwell Park. We already know this will be a solid spot for summer, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.
