Angus Cloud has passed away at the age of 25. The Euphoria actor died at his family home in Oakland, California yesterday.
Following the recent death of his father, Cloud’s family made a statement that he too passed away, having suffered an immense loss and open battle with his mental health.

In their statement, Angus’ family has said “Last week, he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own or in silence”.

Angus played Fez on Euphoria, your friendly local dr*g dealer who was both in a whole lot of illegal sh*t and had the sweetest plotline with the love interest Lexi. He was a complex character whose kind heart seemed at odds with the image that preceded him.

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson spoke to Rolling Stone following the announcement: “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will.”

Euphoria was Cloud’s first acting role, having been cast on the street. With the show approaching its third series, Cloud’s impact is profound, leaving behind a strong acting legacy that has positively impacted many lives.
