3.Paradis knows how to design to a narrative. The LVMH nominated brand has just launched its SS22 campaign imagery, entitled ‘Let The Wind Blow Back’. Shot by London based photographer Rashidi Noah, the campaign and collection comes as the prequel of a series of collections which discusses “personal changes and transformation brought by growth”.
For SS22, this is the first part of a series exploring the idea of spiritual renaissance, self awareness and soul searching. Creative director Emeric Tchatchoua also delves into the concepts of “inner rebirth and the deconstruction of old ideas” by uniting the past, present, and future throughout his designs.
Layered with references, double entendre and symbols, 3.Paradis’ collection highlights the considered use of specialist fabrics, finishes, and details; all of which are working to represent resurrection, change and transformation. This is the next chapter and prequel of the brand’s previous AW21 collection, and embodies the natural evolution of the mind and spirit.
Catch the collection in Selfridges and END at the end of the month.
